This Joomla plugin allows users to login using basic HTTP authentication., _(*1)

Installation

Go to the root directory of your Joomla installation in command line and execute this command:, _(*2)

composer require nooku/joomla-basicauth:*

Usage

After installing the plugin, publish it in the Plugin manager., _(*3)

Any menu item with access level set to Registered or Special will now prompt the user to login using basic HTTP auth if he/she tries to open this page directly., _(*4)

Requirements

• Composer
• Joomla version 2.5 and up.
