Install Craft CMS from the command line.

Craft Command Line Installer

Manage Craft from the command line with composer. This tool is heavily inspired by the Laravel Installer., _(*1)

Requirements

• Composer

Installation

1. Ensure that the ~/.composer/vendor/bin is available in your terminal PATH., _(*2)

   Note: my Oh My ZSH profile has this line:, _(*3)

   export PATH="/usr/local/bin:/usr/bin:/bin:/usr/sbin:/sbin:/Users/username/.composer/vendor/bin", _(*4)

   Note: make sure you change username above, _(*5)

2. Require craft globally by using this command:, _(*6)

   composer global require "themccallister/craft=dev-master", _(*7)

3. Change to a new directory, such as ~/Sites, and run craft install mywebsite.com., _(*8)
