Form Builder for Bootstrap 4 Alpha 6

Provides extra functionality for creating bootstrap markup., _(*1)

Installation

Assumption: Bootstrap 4 is ready and installed into the project., _(*2)

Begin by installing this package through Composer. Run the following from the terminal or edit composer.json and update:, _(*3)

composer require "slakbal/html":"*"

Next, add your new provider to the providers array of config/app.php. Remove any other provider for example the standard form builder., _(*4)

  'providers' => [
    // ...
    //Collective\Html\HtmlServiceProvider::class,
    Slakbal\Html\HtmlServiceProvider::class,
    // ...
  ],

Now add two class aliases to the aliases array of config/app.php. Using the aliases from the Laravel collective package, _(*5)

  'aliases' => [
    // ...
    'Form' => Collective\Html\FormFacade::class,
    'Html' => Collective\Html\HtmlFacade::class,
    // ...
  ],

Example

Note that the package has it's own function names, due to different method signature. The normal form methods are also available but won't provide the extra bootstrap markup., _(*6)
