What is MetaSyntactical/Io?

MetaSyntactical/Io is part of the MetaSyntactical PHP 5.3+ components library and allows to read primitive types from streams and files., _(*2)

MetaSyntactical/Io is based on the Zend Framework proposal for Zend_Mime_Magic of Matthew Ratzloff and the derived implementation as Google Code project of Sven Vollbehr. I have transformed the code to use namespaces, better exception handling and added a lot of unit tests., _(*3)

Requirements

MetaSyntactical/Io is only supported on PHP 5.3.10 and up., _(*4)

Installation
