Converts a string into a slug., (*1)

Features

  • Removes all special characters from a string.
  • No external dependencies.
  • PSR-4 compatible.
  • Compatible with PHP >= 5.3.3.

Installation

Usage

Generate a slug:, (*2)

use slouma2000\Slugify\Slugify;

$slugify = new Slugify();
echo $slugify->slugify('Hello World!'); // hello-world

You can also change the seperator used by Slugify:, (*3)

echo $slugify->slugify('Hello World!', '_'); // hello_world
